What is The Book of Revelation: Interpreted and Made Simple?
This book simplifies the Book of Revelation into the correct layout. When you get that right all of the different aspects just start falling into place. The layout is number one, and then there are new points in this book that have never been brought up before as far as I have been exposed. But once you understand it from the big picture, much of the mysteriousness fades away, giving the reader confidence and making them much less susceptible to poor translations.
Through the years there have been a lot of books written about how to interpret the Book of Revelation and there have been a lot of errors. Reading from other books to the next to the next will confuse you because of the various thoughts and beliefs, with many contradicting each other. This book should empower the average Christian to understand what is happening on their own along with freeing them from being confused by incorrect theories.
What inspired you to write this book?
I've been studying this topic for over 40 years and I wanted to clear some theories up. The good Lord gave me the basic plan for how the Book of Revelation was laid out back in the 1980s. I kept expecting someone to write a book that explained it the right way but no one ever did.
I had been reading other people’s books on the subject for several years and I got tired of it, so just started studying on my own with the good Lord. During this period God would show me answers to all of my questions (and I asked a lot of them!) in His timeframe. Up until about 2021 He had shown me much of what the Book of Revelation was saying but I still felt that there were too many tie-ins left to begin writing a book, but God asked me to write this book around my 62nd birthday. I couldn't not write it if you know what I'm saying? He really got after me, so I started writing in faith, and it was great.
The Lord has spoken to me for years and told me a lot of things during this time. I’ve always asked God questions and he always answers. Sometimes He answers in different ways and in different time frames. This book is the result of that call and response, and it came from Him, not me. I’ve spent years researching, reading, praying, and letting the Lord show me how all of the various subject matters dovetailed together, in His timing. You can’t just start studying for a few months and come to a full understanding of the layout on your own. That is where many have erred. The Bible is a long book with a myriad of subject matters or threads going on.
What part of the writing process did you find the most enjoyable with this book?
It took several months to write because it's a long book, 83,500+ words and it could have been much longer. Before being printed there were 10,000 more words, so to me this book is brief. God showed me at least 20% of the tie-ins and interpretations while writing. He gave me years-worth of information in just a few months. It gave me chills throughout my body, tears in my eyes, and great fulfillment with His Spirit being with me while writing this book.
How did you approach breaking down the Book of Revelation to be more digestible to your readers? How does it stand out from other books?
There are a lot of books that talk about Revelation but do not have a deeply organized understanding of what the book is saying. There are many theories and ideas put forth by other authors or denominations, but each one’s weakness shows by having points that do not fit together so the conflicts are just explained away or assigned a very flawed interpretation.
When you understand the whole layout of Revelation the right way, it interprets itself. Old Testament prophecies will come alive and fit into some point in the Book of Revelation. When you understand the layout (or organization), you will see that often a section will describe some aspect of what will happen from start to finish in that context then at a critical juncture it will point back to the beginning of that time frame and picks the narrative back up to cover a new aspect to its conclusion. This is a repetitive process throughout Revelation.
When you read my book carefully you can’t help but understand. I did cut out the mysterious language, which tends to confuse people and send them down rabbit holes. This helps keep you focused on how the book is laid out, so everything will line up in an understandable manner.
The book was written to be read side by side with the Book of Revelation. If I had included all the scriptures that related plus extra subject matter along with printing the particular verses, it would have been very long. There are many references in the Old Testament that mirror the Book of Revelation and clarifies the picture, adding further confirmations of what is correct.
How did My Book Printer help your vision become a reality?
I’m a person that does their homework, researching several printers and yours was the most user friendly and thoughtfully laid out. As someone who is a new author, your website made sense and was no hassle.
Other websites that I’ve visited either have you read over long complicated articles before you could place your order or you were charged added fees. There isn’t any of that nonsense with your website. I’ll definitely come back to use your services again.
