What is Little Bighorn Voices From A Distant Wind about?
Written by Steve Adelson, interpretive ranger at the Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument, the author presents a fair, colorful, and intriguing portrayal of the primary characters and events that culminated in the Battle of the Little Bighorn, otherwise known as “Custer’s Last Stand.” Packaged with the book is an award-winning documentary DVD, Contested Ground.
Why do you feel this event in American history is important to share with people?
This battle has almost a cult-following, world-wide. The book sells throughout this country and many others in Asia, Europe, Australia, Scandinavia, South, and North America. Readers are fascinated with this famous battle and anxious to learn more about how it impacted American history.
What part of the publishing process did you find the most enjoyable with this book?
My interest in history, the humanities, and American culture dates back almost 50 years. Helping the author put this book together, and printing it through numerous printings, with a few changes along the way, has been an honor and a joy.
How did My Book Printer help your vision become a reality?
Working with Ellen Lobb, our CSR, and her production team, helped us perfect the original manuscript design, improve images, and produce a high quality book (and meet distribution deadlines) that continues to outsell other books attempting to relay the same topic. This book on the Little Bighorn Battlefield, with its accompanying DVD, is by far the best on the market covering this topic.
