What is Moments about?

Moments is a beautiful booklet of inspirational photographs and sayings. It invites the reader to escape, dream, reflect, meditate and relax. With lush photographs of the ocean, beach, sky, sunset, night time sky, roses, and crystals, readers are reminded we are surrounded by peace, beauty, and grace. If we invite silent awareness into our lives, we can experience every moment as precious.

What inspired you to write this book?

For years I photographed special moments that felt I like I was capturing images and inspirations from another realm. I wanted to create something with those photos to inspire and comfort people. Moments evolved to remind readers that life is made up of precious moments and to create and enjoy them, and that love is there for us in every moment, in all moments.

I like to write notes if something inspires me and draw a little too, so there are some pages for readers to journal and images to color, as a way to relax and reflect. I wanted to create a gentle reminder for readers of how precious each moment is in life, and to enjoy them.

What part of the writing process did you find the most enjoyable with this book?

I loved every part of creating Moments. Photographing special and sacred moments, writing the inspirational sayings and choosing what message of love and inspiration I wanted to share with readers, designing the book cover and layout, and drawing the illustrations. And I loved sharing it with the world once completed! It was also a great joy and honor for it to be named a Finalist in Novelty & Gift Books in the American Book Fest, Best Book Awards.

What do you want readers to take away when reading this book?

I want readers to feel a sense of peace and escape stress, spend time in silence and experience the peace that beauty and nature provide us. I also hope to inspire people to take a moment to be still and look for beauty and precious moments in life and to create them as much as possible. And, if it could inspire them to reflect and tune in to their dreams, that would be wonderful.

Moments is also a nice companion and enjoyable with my award-winning ambient music album, Return of the Soul, which is great for relaxation and meditation.

How did My Book Printer help your vision become a reality?

The quality of my books through My Book Printer was fabulous and of superior quality. The vibrant colors of the cover and interior photographs were outstanding, the paper recommendation used was perfect and the printed book was more beautiful than I could have imagined. The book feels “good in the hand”, and people who like reading a physical book know what I mean. The quality is very high - no fading, bending, or pages coming unglued, which will last for years.

My experience from my first phone call with Kim Warner, Sales Account Manager, to the finished printed books was outstanding, excellent, and a five star experience! Moments was the second title my publishing company, Peace of the Dreamer, published with My Book Printer. My first experience was printing my award-winning children’s book The Adventures of Lumi Nary Light A Fairy Tale of a Teeny Tiny Angel. Both experiences and the quality of the books were exceptional.

Kim Warner is an exceptional professional, who was kind, patient, supportive throughout the entire printing process, and always available by phone, which was highly valued and appreciated. And Ellen Lobb, Customer Service Specialist, was kind, patient, informed, and a tremendous professional, kept me posted every step of the way during the production process, and caught a few things I missed. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Kim and Ellen, and the team at My Book Printer / 360 Digital Books. I truly felt supported by my team and appreciate this more than I can express.
